Profile

Our aim, says Davide Lagattolla, who oversees styling for the collection, is to create a totally Made in Italy product, like our lace, which is still made on Valencienne looms dating back to the late 19th century. Our Leavers and Chantilly lace in 100% silk, cotton or lurex is made as border or trim and is used in ready-to-wear garments, intimate apparel and accessories, creating an elegant product that can also be worn every day. All further frosting, calendaring and embroidery are carried out by companies in northern Italy. Marco Lagattolla offers an extensive range of timeless products like organza, satin and duchesse, as well as a series of stretch fabrics made on our latest-generation looms to high levels of technology and quality. The dyeing is carried out and certified 100% Made in Italy by the finest manufacturers in our production district, and is enhanced by special finishes.

Interview with the owner Marco Lagattolla

Herebelow some excerpts from Marco lagattolla's interview for Sposabella.

"..his company has a consistent strategy and direction where everything is perfectly connected .. wisely in advance , he decides  to take care of the training of the young personnel because only , thanks to many years of experience , the company and the staff can effectively know and command the complex gears of this sector in all his facets and problems."

"Trends in fashion can difficultly be predicted with 100% success thus the attendance to the main international fairs is mandatory. Innovative ideas, true creativity  and the courage to risk are lacking both in the italian and french  high fashion. This is why young people should be given opportunity to grow. Marco Lagattolla is already working like that."
